To Err Is Human...

Forgive me,
everyone out there.
Everyone who knows about that,
the relationship that I smashed.

Forgive me,
Its not what I want either,
Its not what I can manipulate,
to the situation of total harmony.

If,
I do not deserve forgiveness,
just condemn.
Reprimand as fierce as you like,
if that can relieve your temper.

I beg for a chance to wash away my sin.
Not to correct the past,
but to avoid the future.

After all, I am just a man,
not saint.
Please,
forgive me.

You Reap What You Sow

If my memory still serves me right, the motion for the school level English parliamentary debate audition was 'you reap what you sow'. Just now, I came across this maxim from a post in Facebook. It was about a hardworking student who achieved good grades and was not appreciated, what a sad case. I shall be proud of myself upon others' appreciation on me and steps are not to slow down but acceleration is required. I am now in my cousin's house, celebrating his birthday. The party is great, with around 50 people turning up. Most of those are his friends. There is a very ironical phenomenon. My cousin is in form 4, from Monkey Boy School(LOL). But during the barbecue fiesta, I saw 5 pretty young hot chicks. I didn't notice and think further about that. I settled down with my delicious yummy gummy barbecue stuffs in the compound. My uncle follow suit. Later on, he said my cousin is pro, study in a boy school still got so many girls chasing after him. Girls call him through phone, doing lots of love signs, etc, etc. See, even his dad acknowledges his capability of attracting girls, I can't agree more then. He shall be a singer or a fashion model, quit study and explore his future in key personality field. I am having a can of Heineken. I had tried Carlsberg Gold before, and I just feel that these beers lack the oomph the practical wines give you. Practically, when we drink wines, we are drinking 80% ethanal, and 20% ethanol, not fully alcohol. Anyway, I can't really guarantee to myself that I don't touch alcohols, in part I think I am addicted to it already.Damn it!!

A Token of Appreciation and Some Reflection

It's been a long while since I wrote my last post.

To start with, I received my first semester A level results on the 10th of March. Amidst happiness intermingling with a tad of disappointment( I got a B for Stastistics 2), I began my first ever post mortem on my result grade.

There was once my best friend forever, Lynton, told me this: cleverness can't bring you far, only hardwork can bring you to a higher plateau. This brutal truth certainly hit on my face hardly, knocked me down repeatedly for the past 6 years. I don't mean I am clever here, and sadly I am only half clever. If I were that clever, the result wouldn't end up in such a pathetic way.Not to mention others, cases happened around me incessantly that challenge will beat you down if you are not fully prepared. I learnt a lesson. Never treat things easily, especially exams. Laziness only contributes to the lag in the flow of globalisation and modernisation(I don't mean to use big word, but I think it is suitable to use those mouthful of lengthy words which I don't like).

Thank you bro, you helped to fill the gap between me and my family, never left me(I don't know if u have ever thought of, LOL) when I sinned, never declined whenever I need support, and the best pastime of me. Gladly, lessons you taught me are still imprinted on my mind. U r such a beloved and respected BFF.

It is time to calm my mind down and clear the dirt that blinded me for so long. Learn from sharp observation and think twice before I act. It is not the pitfalls that you start to feel God is not fair to you, but it is the same thing that He wants to test on your ability to climb back to the summit. By the time you succeed , rejoice under the bath of sunlight!!!

p/s: A lot of lesson to learn from my housemates too, especially Nicholas, Kelvin and Ernest. Indeed, philosophy is a good, great principle!!

First day in IELTS...deep impression.

To quote Logaraj, 'no matter how early we get up, we will be late to school for sure'. This is something we shall ponder-the cause for sure.FYI, from Angkasa Condominium elevated carpark to north wing of UCSI University is a 20 minutes walk. We may be arriving in time if everything goes on smoothly during the course of journey. 'Latecomers will have to sing song! Lady Gaga!', our Miss Diane from Manchester, UK joked. So, disregard of you have to sing a song for a hundred odd students and 3 IELTS teachers, please depart early to get hot seats in the class, not to say in the first row, as that would be uncomfortable. You know, the mini amp+loudspeaker can't pronounce British English accent well.

Now in her mids, Miss Diane is really a jocular person. She is an MUFC fans, has a good sense of humour, and is the 'play while you play, work while you work' type of person. She gained my respect from the role she plays as an english teacher. A good one!!
